Irpin & Miami Establish Sister City Status
Irpin and Miami established sister city status. The agreement was signed on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Miami city hall. The relationship will serve to strengthen diplomatic ties between the USA and Ukraine, and foster a sense of goodwill and understanding between citizens of both cities.
Irpin Makes History
Ukraine’s western suburbs, including towns like Bucha and Irpin, erupted in combat as the Russian forces attempted to capture Kyiv. Irpin local officials, Ukrainian Armed Forces, and civilians set up a defense against advancing Russian forces.
